Michael Frederick
Partner, Director of Financial Planning
Michael Frederick’s path into financial planning began long before he earned his finance degree from Drexel. Early in life, people he knew—often much older—turned to him for financial guidance, and he saw firsthand how much clarity and confidence a thoughtful plan could bring. That experience shaped his belief that everyone deserves a partner who listens, educates, and helps them prepare for the future with confidence.
Mike has an extensive background in comprehensive financial planning and works closely with business owners, pre-retirees, and retirees to create long-term, disciplined, process-driven plans. Over the years, he has seen the impact of diligent planning come full circle—most notably when 529 plans he established decades ago fully funded clients’ children’s college education. Those moments reinforce why he does this work.
As Director of Financial Planning, Mike leads the planning process for CLARA Spring Private Wealth, integrating retirement strategies, education planning, tax-aware decision-making, and long-term goal setting. His approach was shaped by honest, deeply knowledgeable mentors who modeled integrity and a truly client-centric philosophy.
Mike holds the Series 7 and Series 66 registrations through LPL Financial, along with multiple advanced designations:
- Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) – 2004
- Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) – 2006
- Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) – 2003
- Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) – 2011
He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Investment Management Consultants Association, and the American Institute for Economic Research. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College.
Mike grew up in the North Penn School District and is deeply rooted in the community. He has served as a CYO coach in multiple sports, volunteers as a firefighter, supports local nonprofits, and performs in The Driveway Band, which he started during COVID to bring people together. He and his wife have three children. He enjoys spending time outdoors.
